Interested in partnering with TCWF?
If you have a group of 16-25-year-old young people who could benefit from building self-belief, then we’d love to hear from you.
The Colour Works Foundation works in partnership with youth organisations, colleges and young offenders to offer courses to those at risk of becoming NEET, those whose mental health is affecting them from being the best they can be and the most vulnerable in society.
Goals of the course
The Colour Works Foundation programme has 3 main goals for the young people who complete the course.
Each young person will leave with:
- Tangible self-assessed improvements in confidence, emotional self-management, presentation skills, interpersonal skills and employability
- New tools to gain and maintain employment and develop constructive relationships with colleagues
- A personal development plan to focus on a future of hope and opportunity.

Partner Feedback
“Thank you so much, the students really enjoyed it and have learned a great deal about themselves and how to relate more positively to the world around them.”
“There has been a greater sense of self-confidence and self-awareness, as students understand their particular personality traits are not bad, just different.
There was a real sense of empowerment as students understood their natural dispositions and considered how they might manage their relationships with themselves and others in order to achieve the most successful outcomes”“The course was highly effective in achieving its objectives. We wanted to add value to both the academic and personal lives of the visiting young people. The anecdotal feedback we have received suggests that the course exceeded the expectations of the young people..”
“A very well delivered program, which was adapted to the learner needs on the day. Given the low number of participants the deliverer did extremely well to engage all learners and deliver in a way that worked.”
“The young people had a greater understanding of their personality traits and their ability to open up about their behaviours. They became more honest and open to the possibility of setting targets to improve their confidence and teamwork skills, as they felt comfortable discussing this with TCWF team who were brilliant with them”
“I cannot emphasise enough the huge positive impact ColourWorks have on the young people on our courses, many of whom are vulnerable and reluctant to engage with support agencies. Liz and Gills have a brilliant way of engaging with every participant on the course and helping them to understand their value and skillset”
“ColourWorks was a really effective course for the YP. This cohort were particularly challenging and reluctant to engage with any outside provider involvement at first, but – due to Liz and Giles positive attitudes and willingness to persevere- they ended up respecting them and valuing their input”
“Thank you so much to Liz and Giles for helping to change these young people’s lives and supporting them to realise just how much potential they all have!!”
